This meetup has two parts: 2 - 3:30 pm For those wishing to attend the range safety and practice session, this will begin at 2 pm if you want to watch; consider arriving a bit earlier if you plan to participate. 3:30 - 6:30 pm Join everyone in the estate house for our usual great meetup, discussing recent events and news deconstructions, as well as our regular donation raffle drawing. For October, we’re throwing the usual No Agenda meetup out the window and going full Headbangers Ball in honor of Adam Curry and the glory days of MTV. 😂 Expect karaoke, rock, metal, questionable song choices, and absolutely no requirement that you can actually sing. Big hair, leather, denim, band shirts and general 80s/90s rock ridiculousness are highly encouraged. 🎤 Come sing.

We are going back to the Mallard.  This is the place where it all started 3 years ago, when I had the idea to get JCD out of the house.  Thanks to the worst tip of the day ever, I have learned that this bar was literally a quarter mile walk from John's house on the hill.  No wonder he always showed up ;-).

Lynda aka "Lydia" of the Shire recommended we do a meetup at Hopmonk Tavern in Sebastopol, so we're doing it.  This place has great food, beer, and a full bar.  It has plenty of room to hang out, and even has two stage areas for live music.  Sebastopol is famous for being a nuclear free zone with many cat ladies wandering the streets.
