The “I Don’t Buy It” Chicago JCD Memorial

In the morning GITMO Nation of Chicago, Chicagoland, and surrounding areas! Come join us to celebrate Uncle John on The Riverwalk at the Island Party Hut. Bring your favorite JCD story and an umbrella -it might rain. If it rains we will figure out an alternative so stay tuned. We look forward to seeing old friends and making new friends. The meetup will say from 2-6pm but stay until whenever.

Public Trans from the Northside:

If you take the Brown Line exit Washington/Wabash and walk. If the Red Line is your train then take it to Lake and walk. If you’re taking the Metra from the burbs and feel like walking, get to Washington St and head east. You’ll run into a Riverwalk entrance and keep going east -it’s about a 30 minute walk. Or take a Lyft, a Divvy Bike, or one of those motorized scooters that are all the rage.
